The electronics manufacturing industry has no shortage of people who treat their knowledge as a competitive asset. Consultants who drip-feed insights at an hourly rate, experts who guard process know-how as if the world would end if others learned it too. That culture frustrates me. The industry moves forward when people share what they know, not when they lock it behind paywalls and NDAs.
Every tool on this site comes from real work on real production floors. The calculations aren't invented, they're derived from IPC standards, published research, and years of hands-on experience. Making them freely available isn't charity. It's just the right thing to do.
